Witch Eye Submission Guidelines
By submitting
content for publication, you certify that the work is yours, and not
subject to any copyright restrictions. Contributors retain all
rights to their work, but grant non-exclusive unlimited use to Witch Eye for any current or future online and/or print publications,
unless otherwise specified at the time of submission. Contributors
whose work is published will receive a complimentary copy of the issue
in which their work appears along with a free quarter page sized ad (either text-only or print-ready graphics supplied at time of submission). Unused pieces will be kept on file and may be used for future issues.
We will print: poems,
musings, letters, spells, rants, articles, essays, art, exercises, spells, movie/book
reviews, recipes, songs, stories, humor, games, ideas, & thought-provoking
material relevant to Feri (Faery) Witches.
We won't print: core initiatory material, personal attacks or inflammatory/abusive material.
We accept materials from the full spectrum of the Feri community: practitioners, initiates, teachers, students, as well as seekers and others who are familiar with our tradition. Send us art! Send
us writing! Send us ideas! Submissions are always welcome.
To
have your work considered,
please include the following at the time of submission:
- your name as you would like it to appear
- a mailing
address for your
Contributor's copy to be sent to (NOT for
publication)
- a short
bio (approx.
50 words or less. Longer bios will be edited for length
Written
works:
Written submissions should be no longer than 6,000 words in length,
MS Word, Rich Text, or plain text format.

Visual works:
Visual art is preferred in digital format (TIFF, PNG, or PSD) with a resolution of at least 300dpi, color or grayscale, on
CD and mailed to our box (see below). Color images should be proportional to our cover-sizes (8.5"x11") to avoid possible distortion when resized for our format. If you prefer to send
hard copies of your work, make sure they are photo ready before mailing.
